Newspaper Blackout Poetry in Chinese
I have been a fan Austin Kleon's Newspaper Blackout Poetry since I came across them on Facebook. Last week, while walking by a newspaper stand in Guangzhou, I suddenly had the urge to give it a try myself with a Chinese newspaper.
You can see how it was made on my Chinese blog or, for those whose computers don't like Chinese characters, in my photo gallery.
For those of you that can't read Chinese, the poem is called "With Family" and roughly translates as follows:
"With family, work, a son, a wife, education, mutual encouragement and support in our lives, one can have confidence and hope."
The original article was from the Nanfang Daily.
