# Project calling privacy a human right tracks you without consent

Friend +liongrass pointed me to an organization called the "Global Commission on Internet Governance" that released a [statement calling privacy "fundamental human right"](https://ourinternet.org/publication/toward-a-social-compact-for-digital-privacy-and-security/?ref=larrysalibra.com) on their [open source website](https://github.com/Ourinternet/website?ref=larrysalibra.com). Lofty goals and admirable words.
